George's journey began in 1989 when he was hired out of college by Wally Mifsud at Hose Specialties/Capri in Highland Park, MI. His initial responsibilities involved working in the DeVilbiss and Binks Automotive Paint Guns & Accessories Room. George swiftly became adept at filling orders, assembling parts, and rebuilding spray guns. It was during this time that George started working with and constructing ball valves, Coaxial hose/Return lines, and the proprietary Ball Valve and Paint fitting line developed by Hose Specialties/Capri.
In 1992, George's dedication and hard work earned him a promotion to commission salesman, and he was transferred to work alongside his father, Chuck Mikesell, in Toledo, OH. One of George's significant accounts was serving the paint shops at the GM Moraine, Shreveport, and Janesville Assembly Plants, where he built strong relationships until their unfortunate closure.
In 2004, George took a significant step by establishing his own business, CAPRI Industrial Products, LLC. In 2009, he further expanded his operations by acquiring Pamark Manifolds, Inc from Bill & Nancy Smith. In 2015, the two businesses merged to form CP Specialty Products, LLC. And now, in 2023, George's journey has come full circle as he proudly introduces the CP Ball Valve and Paint Fittings line
