Some History of George Mikesell's Journey:
George Mikesell's career in the industry began in 1989 when he was hired out of college by Wally Mifsud at Hose Specialties/Capri in Highland Park, MI. Initially working in the DeVilbiss and Binks Automotive Paint Guns & Accessories Room, George quickly developed expertise in filling orders, assembling parts, and rebuilding spray guns. It was during this time that he gained valuable experience constructing ball valves, coaxial hoses/return lines, and working with the proprietary ball valve and paint fitting line created by Hose Specialties/Capri.
In 1992, George was promoted to commission salesman and moved to Toledo, OH, where he worked alongside his father, Chuck Mikesell. During this period, George managed several significant accounts, including EES Coke Plant, US Steel, and various General Motors facilities such as the GM Grand Blanc Weld Tool Center until its closure in 2013. He also supported GM Moraine, Shreveport, and Janesville Assembly plants.
In 2004, George took the bold step of founding CAPRI Industrial Products, LLC. By 2009, he expanded his operations by acquiring Pamark Manifolds, Inc. from Bill & Nancy Smith. This expansion led to the merger of the two companies in 2015, forming CP Specialty Products, LLC.
In 2023, George marked another significant milestone with the launch of the CP Ball Valve and Paint Fittings line, showcasing his decades of dedication and expertise in the industry.
